In the Room
Good service, excellent food, lovely room, friendly environment
Comfortable, spacious and clean room, well equipped. The bar / restaurant offered a fantastic range of food. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order.
Friendly, comfortable and good restaurant
Friendly atmosphere, large clean room, good sized and well equipped en-suite bathroom. Good breakfast menu. We have stayed here before.
The evening menu is somewhat limited, if like us, you do not eat meat, and there is a limited choice of vegetables, but this is an inn, not a 5 star hotel.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely. The whole experience was friendly and comfortable. The shower was so easy to use and constant hot water and warm towels.
Traditional country pub with comfortable rooms and good food
Evening Meal was fine although a bit more expensive than others in the area.
Not really in the standard of a country inn, more like a B&B in a pub.
evening meal was first class, well cooked and presented
did not offer at breakfast all the choices they claimed in the menu
great place with a very comfortable bed just what you need after a long day.
only the lack of mobile reception
This is a small country pub/hotel. The food is excellent but is cooked to order and you must therefore not be in a hurry. Our room was very quiet and kept very clean and the staff were extremely attentive and pleasant, We wold definitely stay there again,.
the only problem for elderly people is the amount of stairs - although you only have to ask and someone will assist with luggage when arriving and departing.
great food, nice atmosphere friendly staff overall nice lovely place
nice hotel very cheap it was just what we needed to attend my brothers wedding nearby.
breakfast though nice could have been bigger
Breakfast menu.........items listed not available. Dinner Menu expensive and restricted. Short staffed. Drink expensive and poor quality wine by the glass. No glasses in the room. Only one plastic mug per double/twin room. Missing towel. Filthy kettle.
We enjoyed the relaxed friendly atmosphere and the food and wine! It was a great location for trips out and we would certainly stay there again.
able to come and go in freedom
